Jacqueline and Gabriel Bittar have been living on Kangaroo Island since 2000, and enjoy sharing their love and experience of the island with visitors. Like swallows they follow the sun and spend the local winter months in the French part of Switzerland, their beloved country of origin. Jacqueline has worked for nearly three decades as a medical secretary and assistant, Gabriel as an economist and researcher in biology, lecturing in phylogenetic methods for 8 years at the University of Geneva, where he obtained his masters in economics and in biochemistry as well as his PhD in science. They have many interests in life, but in their search of the essentials of life they have progressively simplified theirs, and gently keep simplifying it... |
